Do You Have Any Questions?

What kind of tours are available?

Wine tours, Brewery Tours, Distillery Tours or a “Mix It Up” tour which is a combination of any or all of the 3!

What wineries, breweries and distilleries do you visit?
What time is pick up and how long does tour last?

Our standard tours (Fri- Sun) package begins with pick up at the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 -10:45 a.m. with drop off between 4-4:30 p.m.

Standard tours (Wed-Thurs) begin with pick up at DSCofC at 12:00 (noon) and return between 3:30-4p.m.

Private, Corporate and Specialty tours are available every day of the week with rates and stops determined accordingly.

Where is the pick up location?

Our standard pick-up location is at the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce – 509 W. Mercer St.

For Private tours, we can usually arrange to pick you up at your desired location. A flat pick-up fee will be charged for any location that is not within a 10-mile radius of DSCofC. Call for calculation of fee.

Can we bring our own beverages and/or snacks to have in the vehicle?

Yes. You are welcome to bring a small cooler. It is legal to drink while en route. However, we ask you to keep drinking of your own alcoholic beverages to a minimum since you will be consuming a considerable amount of alcohol during your tastings.

Will a tour ever be cancelled?

We have only cancelled tours when there is inclement weather or flash flood warnings. If you are familiar with the Hill Country, flash floods are very serious and we won’t ever take a risk with your lives.

How many people are on each tour?

Each van will hold up to 14 passengers.

How many stops are included in the tour?

Our standard tours (Fri-Sun) will have 3 stops.

Standard tours (Wed-Thurs) will have 2 stops.

Private, Corporate and Specialty tours are available every day of the week with rates and stops determined accordingly.

How much does a tour cost?
Can I bring my children and/or dog?

Service animals are allowed. However, children and/or pets are welcome on Private tours only.

Children over the age of 16 are allowed on public group tours but will not be allowed to consume alcohol even with parent’s approval. Non-drinkers will be charged a reduced rate.

Will I need my ID?

Yes. Your ID will be required to participate in the tour and participate in tastings at each location. We and the servers at the stops are required by law to verify the age of each participant. You may be asked more than once to show your ID so please be ready and respectful.

Why are the gratuities automatically included in the tour fee?

Since your tour package includes all of the other fees, it has proven necessary to include the gratuities because most people don’t remember to bring extra cash to tip the servers, waiters, etc.. The gratuities are also used to tip the “behind the scenes” folks like the food caterer and car washer.

If I purchase something, is there enough room in the van?

Yes! We encourage you to buy as much as you want. We have plenty of room in the van and some of the places will even ship it home for you.

What kind of vehicle will we be riding in?

For groups of 5 or more, you will ride in a Mercedes Sprinter van or Explorer. For parties of 4 or less, you will ride in a Ford F250 or smaller SUV.

Important things to know:

We know you have many choices and are happy you chose to tour with us!  We want you to have a positive, memorable experience.  Please remember to conduct yourself accordingly and respect the businesses and servers who are treating you.

  • Public Intoxication is AGAINST THE LAW, even if you have a designated driver.   It is unlawful to serve or sell alcohol to anyone who is or appears intoxicated.  TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission) is serious about enforcing this law and occasionally place undercover agents in the establishments.   Please pace your alcohol intake, drink plenty of water and “sit one out” if you are starting to feel too tipsy.  It is our responsibility and the responsibility of the servers at the various locations to determine, if and when someone is intoxicated.   If you are advised that you cannot be served, please be respectful and step away.  By law, if ONE person is considered “over the limit”, the entire group must leave, the tour is over and you will be returned to your pick up location.
  • Intoxicated or not, disorderly or loud individuals or groups will be excused from the tasting rooms.  This causes a distraction to the other patrons and is extremely disrespectful.
  • Smoking – There is no smoking allowed on our tours.  Most of the stops do not allow smoking on their grounds.  If you would like to smoke, please ask permission first and wait to be directed to a permissible area.
  • Alcohol – It is illegal to take anything into the wineries, breweries or distilleries OTHER than the product made specifically at that location.  This is a legal requirement and the entire group will be asked to leave if anyone violates.
  • IF you think your server is not pouring fast enough, you MAY NOT pour for yourself.  It is against the law for anyone other than the employees at the facility to handle open bottles.
  • Please have your ID available at all times.  You may be asked for your ID more than once.  Please be respectful.
  • It is always our goal to ensure you have the shortest possible wait to be served.  Sometimes, especially on Saturdays and Holidays, this is unavoidable.  We appreciate your understanding and patience.
  • Cancellation Policy – You may cancel or change your date or group size anytime up to 7 days prior to your tour.  If you cancel or reduce group size with less than 7 days, the full amount will be charged but you will receive a voucher to use anytime within a year of your original tour date.   This applies to partial cancellations as well (less people on the tour than your reservation head count).

We took the Dripping Spings, WImberely and Johnson City tour this past Friday. A group of nine ladies who were ready to get away from kids and life and it was amazing! Linda was well prepared. The wineries, craft beer place and the whiskey tasting were all great! Excellent service all around. Can’t think of a better way to spend the day. Thank you so so much!
